Confucius Institute is an organization which popularizes Chinese language, transmits Chinese culture and sinology and promotes cultural exchanges. One of its main functions is providing Chinese language learners all over the world with standard and authoritative teaching materials and channels. In 2004, the first Confucius Institute was build in Seoul, by now, it has been located in hundreds of education organizations. With more than 5 hundred Confucius classrooms, it has become a global brand and platform for popularizing Chinese language education, transmitting Chinese culture and sinology.

The world's first Confucius Institute was established in Soeul, South Korea in 2004 ; now the
