Some people say that it's civic duty to "give back" to your community.That's true but for me,I want to do some volunteer work so that I can feel useful.
2010 World Expo will host at Shanghai.As it is well-known, it was the first time for the city of Asia to hold this top event.When I was a child,I had dreams of changing the word.I wanted to work in a non-profit organization that did relief work,that helped person in need,or that had an impact on public policy.I've begun to think again about those dreams and thought that I might take the first step of doing some wolunteering.Then,I can see if I lke that kind of work and make some hard decisions.
In my opinion,being volunteer have a fun and rewarding time.I'll pick up a bit of useful information there.I want to become a volunteer for the 2010 World Expo.

My Winter Holiday
We are going to have the winter holiday.During the holiday we will have the Spring Festival.So all of the families in China are having a busy time.All of the children in China like Spring Festival very much,because they can eat many delicious food and get many money.But children in China have to do the homework for Winter Holiday.So that the could remember what they have learn the year before.Each of the children likes Winter Holiday.
I think everybody did a lot of things in the Winter Holiday. But I didn’t. Let you to listen to my story of Winter Holiday.
I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

Shanghai will host the 2010 World Expo. The World Expo has a long history but it has never been held in Asia. So the 2010 World Expo is an honor for all of the Asians. Our government has promised that it will be the best one. And Shanghai, as a host city, will have more chances to develop quickly. As a student in Shanghai, I should learn English well so that I can be a volunteer in the Expo to help foreigners know more about Shanghai. I belive the World Expo in 2010 Shanghai will be the best Expo of all.As a host,what can we do for the Expo?If I can be a volentier,I will do like this:
Firstly , study English hard. Millions of foreigners will visit Shanghai during 2010 World Expo. So we must study the international language harder,to wellcome the friends from all over the world.
Secondly,I will be polite to others, be civilized. Do it from little things. Like do not spit sputum in rude . When you do somethings , remember ladies first. In all, be a kind and polite man.
