I've never MET him before. (correct) = I never MET him before. (口语省掉 have; 用 past participle ' MET ' ) I never MEET him before. (incorrect with the adverb ' before ' ) never MEET 本身冇错，但用现在式 ' MEET ' 是表示将来永不会 ( = will never MEET) 所以要搭配将来意思的副词；如 ' I (will) never MEET him again. ' 2008-06-11 16:54:52 补充： ' I (will) never MEET him again. ' 我以后不会见他。 2008-06-11 17:10:15 补充： 我以后不会再见到他。 (这样译比较好些。)

I think I would prefer the first sentence. Since I focus on 'before'
it should be expressed as a period of time. Meanwhile
"I've never met him before." would be the best wer for you inquiry. No doubt the second sentence is correct on grammar. But the meanings of these o sentences are a bit different.
