1】suggest sb doing 和suggest sb should do意思上有什么区别么？
2】How lovely a boy he is这句话对么？不是应该是How lovely a boy is么
3】－Do you feel like walking there or shall we take a bus?
--I'd like to walk.But since there isn't much time left,I'd rather we __hired__a taxi. 为什么用hired而不用hire.答案上给的解释是would rather 后面接的从句中谓语动词要用一般过去试。有这种语法吗？

1.suggest doing sth. 建议做某事，如：
I suggested going home. (我建议回家)
suggest that... 建议，注意：这是从句中用虚拟语气，即
从句谓语形式是“(should)+动词原型”，如：
I suggested that we should go home.(我建议我们回家)
suggest that... 表明，如：
Opinion polls suggest that only 10% of the population trusts the government.(民意测验表明只有10%的人信任政府)

2.How lovely a boy he is和How lovely a boy is都是错的

应该是 how lovely the boy is! what a lovely boy he is!

感叹句的构成：
what+a(an)+形容词+可数名词单数+（it is）!
换成感叹人也一样，只不过it is改为he is 或she is (同样可以省略)

what+形容词+不可数名词！

what+形容词+可数名词负数+（they are）!
换成感叹人也一样

how+形容词+名词+be!
be要根据名词的单复数改变。

3.would rather+从句，是一个常用的虚拟语气句型
Would rather+从句,谓语一般用过去时来表示现在或将来。其意为“宁愿……,还是…… 好些”“一个人宁愿另一个人做某事”。引导从句的that常省略。在谈到过去的动作时，谓语则用过去完成时。
例 ：
John wants to see me today. I would rather he came to tomorrow than today. 约翰今天想去看我。我宁愿他明天来看我而不是今天。(句中came不是表示过去而是表示将来)
We’d rather he paid us the money tomorrow. 我们宁愿他明天付给我们那笔钱。

1.首先suggest sb should do是suggest that sb should do的省略形式，所以后者是宾语从句~~是属于从句，并且此处的从句还是一个比较特殊的用法，就是suggest后面是虚拟从句，具体形式是suggest sb should do sth.其中should可以省略~~还有很多单词是这种用法，比如advice ，instist，order。。。。等，你问的那只是形式不同，具体意思是一样的，就是就是建议某人做某事~~
3.对，非常正确。。。would rather 后面接的从句中谓语动词要用一般过去式，也属于虚拟从句一方面的！！具体形式是would rather +did ,但是也要看具体情况，此处是最好。。。，而遇到宁愿做某事时，碰上prefer时，记住prefer do sth. rather doing sth.!!!
