选A.首先上面一句是用一般将来时而题目中没有但出现了个移动动词leave所以可以用正在进行时代替一般将来时(另外移动动词还有come go start等)
下面一句显然是用过去时里的某种时态(said告诉,而且给我打电话是已经离开了才有的动作) 而题目中只有一般过去时 一般现在时 正在进行时(is left这个是错的吧,应该什么时态都没用)所以A最恰当 而且成立

选D,不定代词只能用动词不定式做宾语(其实我也不是很了解,老师这么讲的就记下了~)

d need 是 特殊的 情态动词 他可以作为一般动词来用 搭配有need to do/ need doing 这里显然是一般动词 因为Need 后面有s ，再看 这里是主动 ，所以用 need to do，need doing 表示被动
