Essay: Making Friends
It is making friends that I am convinced that plays a leading role in our life. There are good friends and bad friends. To my way of thinking, not simply can good friends broaden my horizon but likewise dissuade us from doing evil things; on the other hand, bad friends may make us fall into bad habits and bring about us go astray. Take my best friend, Lucy, for instance. She has been to a number of countries, therefore being used to sharing her experience with us. In accordance with her, I obtain much information and knowledge with respect to cultures and customs of other countries. On the contrary, one of my classmates, Zeref, continually persuades me into breaking school regulations. In my opinion, he is neither honest nor true.
And most of all, both good friend and bad friends have a great influence on us, which the former lend a helping hand when we are in trouble yet the latter may kick us when we're down. For example, the instant I needed help, Lucy did her level best to aid me; nevertheless, Zeref didn't give me any piece of advice, spoking ill of me behind my back sometimes. For this reason, I would rather get acquainted with those who are kind-hearted, upright, and generous than get along with those who are mean, selfish, and stingy. Had not it been for making the most of our insight, we wouldn't have made good friends. On the whole, we cannot stress the importance of making friends too much.
