网络时代信息容易取得,创新因其稀有而创造新的价值产生新的经营模式。然而,创新能否被管理?工业工程作为一个整合性强的学科,如何在创新的研究上扮演重要角色是未来值得深思的问题。

重新设计工作及资源调度,建立弹性的国际生产系统,包括企业资源规划、供应链管理等管理系统,以及建立企业整合、同步工程、协同商务等平台,使需求、生产、销售、服务以及财务整合在一起。
(6)人因工程与安全工程
举凡制造业工作环境、公共生活空间、消费产品设计、人机接口、残疾人士辅助设备等,均可以应用人因工程与安全工程。未来研究发展应更重视如何增进人性价值,以及提升生活品质等方向。

Following canvasses the future thrust of industrial engineering from different directions separately:
(1) human resource development
