也算是惯用的搭配了，意思是：受重伤。Hurt做及物动词的时候，有“受伤”的意思，而badly是形容词bad的副词形式，修饰谓语动词的，形容词是不能修饰谓语动词的，所以不能用bad.
至于badly的位置，其实它既可以放在hurt的前面也可以放在hurt的后面。副词在句子中的位置其实其实没有特定的，可以放句子开头，也可以放结尾，通常是放在被修饰的词的旁边，可左可右。

这里其实我有疑问，应该是用where。作为定语从句，which和where都可引出先行词。which是关系代词，where是关系副词。Which是指物，在定语从句中应该做主语或者宾语。而where是指地点，在定语从句中是做地点状语的。而在这句话中，live表示“生活，居住”的时候是不及物动词，也就是说后面不能加宾语，而在这从句里，主语已经有了，就是he。所以which在这句子里是无法做主语或者宾语的，这时候能用的只能是where，在从句中作地点状语。
其实，关系副词引导的从句可以由“介词+关系代词”引导的从句替换。而in
which其实相当于where，所以可以这么写：the

feel确实是系动词，但是well在这里不是副词，当表示“（身体）健康，良好的”的意思时，well是形容词来的。
另外，系动词后面是加形容词的，所以应该是I
