Michael E.analyzed the competitive advantage focused on the influence of the industrial environments on a corporation's strategy, and proposed the famous"five competitive forces"model. The most significant weaknesses of this approach is that it dose not give importance to the influence of the resource and the ability of single corporation. Thus , this approach tends to result in the diversification strategy that dose not fit to the corporation’s real ability.
