A mew business should have enough industry attraction and support to develop the current core competencies of the corporation. Before deciding to choose a business, the industry attraction and critical success factors (CSFs)of the industry must be analyzed systematically. Second, the threat of substitutes (how easy can our product or service be substituted, especially cheaper);
Third, the bargaining power of buyers(how strong is the position of buyers, can they work together to order large volumes);
Fourth, the bargaining power of suppliers (how strong is the position of sellers, are there many or only few potential suppliers, is there a monopoly);
At last, the rivalry among the existing player(is there a story competition between the existing players, is one player very dominant or all equal in strength/size). 展开
