During this summer holiday, I went to Sichuan Province. Sichuan is a wonderful place. Not only people there are kind and worm-hearted, but also the view there is beautiful and attractive.
One of the most famous tourist attractions is Jiuzhaigou. We went there on the first day. However both Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong are at an elevation of more than 2000 meters. I felt uncomfortable but I kept walking through the whole tour. Actually Jiuzhan and Huanglong are really as beautiful as the Paradise. I took a lot of photos there. I am willing to show them to my friends. After that, I went to Leshan and Mount Emei. From our tour guide , I knew that the mountain where the Great Buddha lies is called Mount Lingyun but not Leshan. We visited the Great Buddha. It is about 70 meters high. We heard a story from our guide. She said that people in Leshan never built buildings higher than the Buddha. But a few years ago, a businessman from other parts of the country built a building which is 3 floors higher than the Buddha and until now that 3 floors haven’t been sold out yet. Theinhabitants treat the Buddha as the God. Nearly all people in Leshan believe in Buddhism. The guide also told us the Great Buddha will be repaired and protected. The government will build a building and at that time only the Buddha’s head will be shown and other parts are protected within the building. It’s sad that future tourists will never be able to see the whole Buddha . How lucky I am to see it with my own eyes this time!
