Being sick is never any fun, the bedclothes always smell funny, and nothing tastes good. Getting out of bed is a chore, all my muscles ache, and I feel like I aged several decades overnight. Often, my nose will be blocked, the agony of not being able to breath is torture, and even the softest tissues feels like sandpaper after just a few days. Things I find fun when I'm healthy seem like too much work, and all I want to do is lie in bed and wait for the sickness to pass. The best thing about being sick is my mother's chicken soup. Every time I get sick, she would bring me a bowl of steaming, fragrant soup with soft tofu and fresh cabbage leaves. Just one sip makes everything so much better.

我健康时喜欢做的都显得累人（英文－太多劳作），而我只想躺床上等着病痛过去。生病时最好的的东西是我妈妈做的鸡汤。每次我病了，她都会端着加了软豆腐，
白菜叶，冒着热气，香香的汤给我。就一口［好像－英文不用说好像，读者知道鸡汤不是神药，这是比喻而已］一切都好多了。

I still remember the first time my parents took me to the zoo. I was just six (这里我写了6，自己改岁数就行), and was so excited about the trip I couldn't sleep the night before. It was winter, so most of the animals outside were asleep, but we still got to see many of them. We first went to Monkey Mountain where the antics of the little monkeys made my parents and me laugh. The panda house was next. One of the giant pandas was having breakfast. I had always thought pandas only eat bamboo, but even as we watched, this one found an apple in its food trough and ate it with relish. Before we left, my father bought us a snack and we ate it together in front of the zebras.
