Peace and development are still the two subjects confronted with people all over the world. 和平与发展问题仍然是摆在全世界人民面前的两大课题。
这里的confronted感觉有问题，confront和be confronted with不都是翻译成面对吗，那confronted with.....在这里做subjects的后置定语，句子可以转化成“...subjects which is confronted with people...”,按这样来讲，就要译为“课题面对人们了”。是我理解错了，还是这句话本身有问题，还请大牛指教，感激不尽！
