为什么飞机上不能带水？

我第一次坐飞机时不懂，哪了一瓶矿泉水就进去，结果在安检时就被没收了？我很郁闷，我不知道为什么？第二次，我拿了一小半瓶化装水装在包包里，结果到安检时又被收了出来，安检员闻了又闻看了又看，可能是水不多就还给我了？我不知道为什么会对液体这样的东西这么严格呢？带上飞机会有什么隐患吗？飞机上不也有水吗？
