This is a news report on Haier company's curent developement in the United States and it's curent market expansion. Recently Haier corporation has introduced its new marketing strategy, which is to aim at colleges and universities and placing its headquarter in the Broadway Street. They removed the "Made in China" tag, hoping that would get rid of the way people think their products are cheap. With colleges and universities set as the building block, consumption is now targeted on students, they would continue to be loyal customers of Haier after they grow up; set up headquater, and showcase their latest products. They hope that by taking these measures, Haier would increase in sales and expand in America. As conpeition rises high in China as it has joined WTO and opened it door to foreign companies, Haier needs to work hard and rise to the top.
