You have a friend who lives in a city abroad. You have decided that you would like to apply to do a course at one of the colleges in this city.
Write to your friend explaining what you would like to do. Tell him/her what type of work or studies you have been doing for the past few years and ask for assistance in contacting an appropriate institution.

How are you doing? everything goes well? there is something I may need your help here...

i am thinking of doing a course about the Chinese Language learning at one of the colleges in your city. you know, i have been studying on the teaching theory of Chinese language these years. and recently I just had a great achivement on my study, which i believe, can bring a significant renovation on Chinese language learning to the foreign learners.it improved the way of teaching Chinese, and will make the foreigners understand Chinese well. I had do a few trial courses in some domestic colleges and the feedbacks are pretty good.

I think I may need your assistance in carrying out this plan, as I do not know your city very well. can you please help to get some appropriate institutions for me? or the right person whom i can contact with?
