Good afternoon,professors and teachers, I am so excited to be here for this interview. First of all, let me introduce myself .My name is xxxxxx , 24 years old, you can also call me xxxx, I has such an English name because the pronunciation of it is like my Chinese name. I come from xxxxx. And my undergraduate period will be accomplished in Hunan University in July. Last year, I prepared for the postgraduate examination. Now all my hard work has got a result since I have a chance to be interviewed by you. I really want to have my postgraduate study in Xinjiang University.
Well, I am a hard working student especially when I do the thing I am interested in. I will try my best to finish my work no matter how difficult it is. And I am a person with great perseverence. Owning to this, I could forcus on my study and succeed in the end. In my opinion, success requires that we accept a certain amount of risk. We need to seek out tough and talented competition. This will test our courage, improve our strength and reveal our weaknesses.
In my spare time, I like reading and doing sports. This is because I benefit a lot from these hobbies, such as getting many new things from books, keeping fit and a good healthy condition by playing basketball.
As far as I am concerned , I like my major. Journalism and communication plays an important role in modernization of our citizens’ thoughts. It is very close to our daily life and it can deeply reflect the styles and features of our society. But I am not easily satisfied with some superficial knowledge. I hope I could have a better understanding in Journalism by studying further. This is a very important reason for me to take the postgraduate exams. My ideal profession is a journalist who would conceive the world with a unique point of view, and thereby report objectively to the public of what is witnessed. A journalist to me becomes an observer of society.
If luckily I got the chance to be admitted into Xinjiang University , I will concentrate on the study and research in this field. First I will hard work to learn the theoretical knowledge, constructing a solid base for my future work; second I would like to do some practical work with the help of the professors and classmates. By means of this , I can get something that cannot be acquired from the textbooks. I believe after 2 years of postgraduate study, my dream will finally come true.
