For the hotel industry, knowledge workers are the most creative and productive groups , but also the loss of them is the most vulnerable .They are most difficult to manage too. Low level of pay; pressure and intensity of work; difficult promotion; low social status of the hotel industry are difficult to attract and retain knowledge-based employees. The staff with low level of knowledge will inevitably lead to a series of issues such as: the management of the hotel industry and the quality of services decline ; the increase in fiscal expenditure; hotel industry disorder. These are major problems to health and long-term development of the hotel industry. In light of these problems I think we should establish a good salaries system; provide good development opportunities to knowledge-based staff; enrich the content of their work, reduce the pressure of the knowledge-based employees; should also appeal to the common efforts of the whole society to improve social status of the hotel employees and all service-oriented staff employees.
