电影是一门包罗万向的艺术，剧情，表演，摄影，配乐，还有在建筑设计课时老师讲过的蒙太奇。它能开阔我们的眼界，丰富知识。以前看到美国前总统尼克松的东西，因为越战，水门事件，负面印象居多，去年看了电影对话尼克松，我看到他的无奈，痛苦，对自己信念的坚持。不管这些是否真实，至少提供了另一种看问题的视角。有一个网站imdb上面电影资料很全，国内有mtime，我在上面加入了一个天津影迷的小组，经常组织一些地下电影放映活动，可以面对面和导演交流，他们不出名却很有想法，电影让我交到很多朋友。电影还可以让幻想成为现实，第一次看哈利波特时那魁地奇赛真是过瘾，还有变型金刚。还有收藏海报DVD也能升值的，当然不是指几块钱一张的盗版盘。我认为看什么样的电影兴趣最重要，有些人为标榜品味看自己都看不懂的东西，我是不管商业的文艺的只要想看都会去看，我喜欢帕西诺和德尼罗，他们的表演上的教父、大师，还有德普唐尼，都很有个性，很尊敬华人导演李安，能把中西方文化融合，为人也很谦和。我看过457部电影，以前曾有过不切实际的梦想，当导演什么的，现在学了建筑，电影就是我最大的爱好，真心希望大家都能感受到它的魅力

The art of film is an assortment entailing story making, acting, vediotaping, music composition and 'montage' which we have tapped into in architectural design courses. Film gives us knowledge and more understanding of the world. Nickson was once negatively tagged by me for the Vietnam war and watergate scandal-- as he appeared so on the movies I have watched. But last year, by watching his interview on a movie, I saw his persistance amid pains and helplessness. True or not aside, I now have another perspective. There is a website IMDB that is rich is materials relating to films. In mainland we have a similar MTIME, where I joined a group of movie fans in Tianjin. We sometimes display works by unfamous directors and even meet them ourselves. They are very thoughful, though not famous and we so become friends.
Films make dreams happens. I never forget how wonderful it was when I first saw the quiditch match in a harry potter movie, so was the Transformers. Well, even collection of posters and DVDs is an investment, which, however and understandably applies not to the pirated ones. The question what movie you want is answered by your interests. There are people who，for the sake of 'high class' taste, forced themselves to watch movies that hardly relate to them at all. I have no such prejudeces. I enjoy PXXX and DXX whose acting of godfather, masters and Dxxx are very impressive. I do respect An Lee, who manages to blend the two cultures of the west and east and who is a nice person. I have watched 457 movies which once led me to unrealistic ambitions such as to pick up a career in the movie industry. But now I am studying architecture and I still enjoy movies for procrastination time. I really hope its charm could be felt by everyone of you!
