The black mud in salt lake is rich in mineral compositions and trace elements such as Kalium, Natrium, Calcium, Ferrum, Chlorine, Iodine, Bromine and sulphate, carbonate etc., after many years' silting, propagation remains have formed organic substances that are good for human's skin such as protein, amino acid and polyoses etc.; hedgehog hydnum is a kind of edible mushrooms that contains great nutrition and medicinal value. For seeking better planting resources and getting finer hericium mushrooms, during the experiment we study how different amounts of black mud affect hedgehog hydnum's growth performance. The result is: adding black mud will lower the growing speed of hedgehog hydnum, and what's more, such influence will become more outstanding while the quantity of black mud raises up; the proper quantity of black mud will increase the output of hedgehog hydnum's encarpium, biological value and the growing condition of its mycelium, yet adding excessive black mud will cause negative impact.
