范文：Last term,I worked so hard at my lessons that I made a progress.Now I feel very happy and rich.

Meanwhile,I used to do a lot to help the other people.From doing these,I knew I was useful and meaningful to the other people.

It made my life very rich.All these I have done is due to one of the talk with my teacher.She told me that I should have a rich life every day.Anyway,I am thankful to her and I had a fruitful term.

上学期，我学习非常努力，取得了进步。现在我感到非常快乐和富有。

也许最重要的是我知道学习对一个年轻人的重要性，所以我学会了珍惜时间，珍惜学习的机会。

同时，我也曾经做过很多事情来帮助别人。从这些事情中，我知道我对别人是有用和有意义的。这让我的生活变得非常丰富。我所做的一切都归功于我和老师的一次谈话。

英语翻译技巧：

1、省略翻译法

这与最开始提到的增译法相反，就是要求你把不符合汉语，或者英语的表达的方式、思维的习惯或者语言的习惯的部分删去，以免使所翻译出的句子沉杂累赘。

2、合并法

合并翻译法就是把多个短句子或者简单句合并到一起，形成一个复合句或者说复杂句，多出现在汉译英的题目里出现，比如最后会翻译成定语从句、状语从句、宾语从句等等。
