i think  family is becoming less important nowadays, 

1. people are becoming more and more busy so that they don't have time spend time with their family.

2. people have to put their work in the first place, because they need work hard to make money 

therefore job is more crucial than family. 

3. with the development of technology, people spend a lof time play with iphone or ipad。thus, people lack of communication between their family.
