解说 例A的“whenever”等于“at any time then; no matter when(无论在什么时间，无论何时)”的意思。例B的“wherever”等于“at, in, to whatever place(无论在或到任何地方)”的意思。“however”在例C的意思是“in whatever degree(无论到什么程度)”，在例D的意思是“in whatever way(无论是什么方法)”。

“whenever, wherever, however”都不需先行词。

注:①“Whenever”在现代英语常用“every time/each time”来取代。
