This short story is written by Shakespeare's best friend, retelling the times from their encounter to being best friends. They were the best of friends, there was no secret between the two. While Shakespeare was young, he was a naughty and rebellious child, but also a brilliant young man with a big dream. He wanted to bee a writer since he was little, so he studied very hard. His father was a business man, and he was his father's assistant. But he was not satisfied with all that, and wanted nothing other than being a writer. Due to family reasons, he wed a woman whom he never loved, and had three children. When the whole family was immersed in happiness, he left behind his three children and went to London with his best friend. In a big city like that, Shakespeare earned a living with his talent, and he continued to learn. In London, he became well known, and his works shocked the world. After reading this short story, I was deeply moved by Shakespeare's determination and the efforts he putted in to be successful. I also respected him for his desire for learning, and his persistance to hold onto his dream, and tirelessly in pursuit of his goal. And now, university students like us were often defeated by harsh reality, and most break under the immense presure placed on us, therefore we need to have Shakespeare's determination and perserverance at pursueing his dreams.
