1.He was born on 17th(或the seventeenth) of January,1963 in New York,US.很明显，2月17日应该是January 17th.

2.He has a height of 6.6 feet and a weight of 216 pounds. 是不地道的，应把height和weight都作为动词才行！！！

3.曾经代表校队参加比赛并获得冠军，在翻译的时候，应该要换序的，即他曾经获得冠军，代表校队。不换序的话，就不符合英语的表达习惯。

4.他5次获得NBA的MVP，翻译成was awarded MVP five times，省略了NBA是不可以的，这也是不符合翻译中“忠实”的原则的。
