第六题 选 A 我们共事多年但从未有过私交。
bread and butter 属于固定搭配（洋人总是这么吃？） 出现即用单数。类似的搭配只有为数不多的几对儿，记住就行了。

P.S. 895642889 关于rather than 的解释不太合适。 would like to do rather than do 是其基本用法.此处rather than 后面跟分词形式另有原因。
rather than A , B is more (比较级）...... 是比起A来B更。。。。。。的意思.这里A应是名词形式。但是本句中A处是动词性的行为主体，所以用现在分词的形式把它名词化了。也就是动名词。
