第一题考察的是主语从句，因为后一个句子有permits 做谓语，空内填的词得能做主语，首先排除D，对于BC两个，在宾语从句中可以直接用，但在主语从句缺主语的情况下必须得有先行词，例如the one that ; the one which,就对了。
第二题考察的是虚拟语气，而且是倒装结构，从选项中看出说的是将来的事，而BE + to do结构表示将来，倒装结构还原就是they were to arrive tomorrow,而选项B是正在进行时结构，不行
第三题考察的是虚拟语气，从末词now看出考察的是现在时的虚拟变换，不能用have done 过去完成结构也不能用would将来结构，你得对各时态的虚拟变换熟悉，也得看出限定词（像now tomorrow 等）
第四题考察的是so+形容词或者副词+as (not)to固定搭配，意思如此……以至于……，这个说的是窗户太小，不能进来阳光的意思
第五题考察的是as soon as结构，意思是一旦……就……，这道题也有虚拟的意思，我一看完参考书你就可以看了，意思是我现在还没看完，将来你才能用它，所以用表示将来的shall
