after all的用法
1.after all 指期待某件事情发生，结果发生的却是相反的事情。意为尽管与我们所期待的不同，但还是(译为：终究，毕竟)，一般放在句末，例如：
I'm so sorry ,i thought i could come and see you this evening,but I'm not free after all
我非常抱歉，原本今天晚上我能来看你的，但是终究没有空。
I expected to fail the exam,but i passed after all.
我原本以为考试不及格，但终究还是通过了。
2.after all也可指别忘记了，它常常表示为了说明某个好理由或者某个重要的辩论而提醒某人看起来忘记的事情，一般放在句首，例如：
