Everyone loves Santa

It’sthat time of year again, when children scream with excitement and parents scream in pain (lots of money to spend). Yes, it’s Christmas!

Christmas is often seen as a Western celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. However, the religious aspect of Christmas is nearly gone these days. Even fewer people are aware of where Santa Claus, the most famous present-giver of Christmas, came from.
Most people have heard of Santa Claus, or Father Christmas, the famous, fat and jolly fellow who (perhaps!) travels the world, handing out presents to good children and adults. Many people believe that there was a ‘real Santa Claus’. He was a man called Nicholas, born in the third century.
