The full-length CDS region of duck L1CAM gene is 3516 BP, encoding 1171 amino acids, the molecular weight is 129772.1Da, isoelectric point is not stable hydrophilic protein 5.98, the protein contains a signal peptide, five transmembrane regions, are located in the amino acid sequence of 0~29, 254~277, 424~442, 827~847 and 1045~1063 regions, homologous alignment showed that the consistency of the gene sequence and duck and fowl, parrots, pigeons, zebra finches have respectively 91.6%, 91.4%, 90.4% and 86.5%, sequence analysis showed it contains 91 active sites, the amino acid sequence of loci 59~78133~148245~258477~507630~648669~680730~762866~886 and 1074~1098 regions may be epitope. In this study, analysis of the two gene structure, laid the foundation for the further understanding of the function of two genes.
