Globalization

Economic globalization is a historical process, the result of human innovation and technological process. It refers to the increasing integration of economies around the world, particularly through trade and financial flows. Globalization restrains the conduct of governments and creates a world market.
Globalization has many influences, such as below:
1. In many realms, more and more human activities can be carried out beyond national boundaries.
2. The distance between regions throughout the world has shortened, while the gap in development and income among countries and regions has widened.
3. Humanity tends to have a similar lifestyle.
4. National and regional characteristics tend to be weakened by frequent and extensive interchange.
5. A new international order and system is being made. The process of globalization is also the process of establishing a new political and economic order.

Globalization is a long-term process. Currently, the term globalization usually refers to economic globalization. Its main manifestations are:
------ Increased deepening in the globalization of production, with transnational speedily developing into a dominant force in the world.
------ Rapid development in the globalization of the three productions factors---capital, labor and science and technology.
------ Appearance of an integrated world market.
As globalization has processed, living conditions has improved significantly in virtually all countries. However the strongest gains have been made by the advanced countries and only some of the developing countries. That the income gap between high-income countries and low-income has grown wider is a matter for concern, and the number of the population in poverty is deeply disturbing. But it is wrong to jump a conclusion that nothing could be down to improve the situation. Every country should seek to reduce poverty. The international community should make great effort to strengthen international financial system to help the poorest countries.
And China should make use of the adjustments the globalization process requires to join actively in reforming international organizations, formulating or amending international rules in order to occupy a benefit.
