For the time being,the proportion of juvenile delinquency is rising. Some scholars deem that this phenomenon results from the change of social status of women,who are working and have less time to care for children.

Most of citizens agree with the opinion from the scholars. It is explained that maternal love is an essential factor for an ideal family. One could not mould a sound character if he lacks the love from his mother. Generally,motherhood imparts love and mercy to their children and these two elements determine the children's value in large extent. The conception of love help one becoming a law-abiding individual because he learns how to condone and care others via the emotional communication between he and his mother. Further, the increasingly number of juvenile offenders emerge,and continually, as these adolescents did not get affluent consideration from their mothers. Today, women, especially who live in metropolis, are likely to busy for their stressful work and few of them fulfill their natural responsibility to bring up their children. As a consequence , children could not acquire a sense of belonging from mothers and strengthen the family bonds, and then they tend to go astray.

Those who think differently argue that the function of maternal love is limited. Primarily, it is unrealistic for women to stay at home in this rapidly changing world because every modern people desire to achieve their own dreams. In addition, Earning money is important for women to afford the expenditure of the family. Also,men as fathers could go out for making money but,in many cases,it is not sufficient for a household if only all rely on a man. On the other hand, a large amount of youths, who live in single-parent households or get less consideration from mothers, do not violate laws. Obviously, it is a convictive fact that confirms the view from that scholars is incorrect.

As far as I am concerned, the thoughts from both sides all have some persuasion. While,from my perspective, family is not only a form, but a a safe haven for every family members. Mother's care is beneficial for children to shape a health mentality, which could control the criminal rate efficiently of teenage. So, my opinion is, for the children grow up healthily, women as mothers should take more time to look after their children.

就我而言,思想从双方均有说服力。同时,从我的观点来看,家族不仅是一种安全的藏身,但每个家庭成员。母亲的关心有益于健康的心态,从而形成一个孩子,能控制的青少年犯罪率有效。因此,我的观点是,因为孩子们健康地成长,女人是妈妈们应该把更多的时间花在照顾他们的孩子。
