废水经管网收集后自流经过人工格栅，去除废水中细小的碎肉，及内脏杂碎物，经人工格栅后进入隔油调节池进行预处理，隔除的浮油、牛毛及杂碎物等通过机械抓斗捞出，隔油调节池也起调节水量、均化水质，再由污水提升泵送至转鼓细格栅，经转鼓细格栅去除部分固体悬浮物质，污水自流至气浮池，在泵前投加混凝剂（PAC）进行反应，从而保证气浮设备能有效地去除污水中的油、浮渣、色度和部分有机物（CODcr、BOD5），气浮出水后自流流入水解酸化池，厌氧处理后继而进入生物接触氧化池进行反应，在此绝大部分有机污染物通过生物氧化、吸附得以降解，经生化池处理后进入至二沉池进行固液分离后，沉淀池上清液溢流至消毒池+中间水池进行二氧化氯消毒，经消毒后出水由过滤提升泵提升进入陶粒过滤器和纤维球过滤器，出水达标排放。
二沉池中的污泥利用气提排泥，部分污泥回流至水解酸化池，另一部分剩余污泥送至污泥池，进一步处理。
由格栅截留下的杂物定期清理，二沉池中的污泥利用气提抽至污泥池；经气浮处理的浮渣也进入污泥池，污泥池的污泥由污泥螺杆泵抽送至板框压滤机压成泥饼后外运。污泥池的上清液及板框压滤机的反冲洗水均回流至调节池。
