解:由已知变形,得
2x=√5+1
2x-1=√5
两边同时平方,得
4x^2-4x+1=5
x^2-x-1=0
x^2=x+1
上式两边同乘以x,得:
x^3=x^2+x=(x+1)+x=2x+1············注:将x^2=x+1代入;
上式两边又再同时乘以x^2,得
x^5=2x^3+x^2=2(2x+1)+(x+1)=5x+3·····注:将x^3=2x+1和x^2=x+1分别代入;
