Online game is a kind of entertaiment. It is increasingly changing people's life . More and more people can enjoy the fresh experience brought by computer games. Meanwhile online game is also an industry. Since 2003, online game is increasing by more than 30% a year. The world is shocked by the speed of development and huge market of online game industry. Chinese on the real meaning of online game started from 2000. Up to now, Chinese online game has already walked through ten years. According to the report of Chinese game industry on 2009, Chinese online game's net sales proceeds was 25,620,000,000 on 2009, angainst a 39.4%increase on 2008. The number of online game subscribers reached 65,870,000, an increase of 33.4% year-on-year. The number of paying online game subscribers reached 37,150,000, an increase of 22.1% year-on-year. However,12 giants of online game companies like Tencent, SNDA, NetEase, PWRD have occupied 87.7% market share of the Chinese online game market. This artical will introduce the development and management of Chinese online game firstly,so readers could have a holistic understanding of online game, then will deeply analyse the game Dragon Oath. This artical aims at analysing the marketing strategy of Dragon Oath that is relatively successful, and find out the successful management for other network game for reference.
