1、yet有“连词”的词性，表转折，强调“但是”；when在前面同时引导了二个状语丛句，你可以理解为：wheh we would willingly give everything we possess to save our lives (and/or/yet) when we might be unwilling to pay a surgeon a high fee for offering us percisely this service.二个句子。虽while也有“连词”的词性，但while 和 when 不能同时搭配。
2、but 表转折，强调“但是”，一般强调其后面跟随的句子，且后面的意思一般与前面的相反；when也有连词的意思，表转折，有“可是、然而”之意，转折得比“但是”要委婉，且此句本意是强调“她自己打扫房间”
3、英语中，陈述事实时，很少用绝对的陈述，且should表“本应该”，放进去，语意也不通。

有几个问题 还是很模糊
第一题里的 while 也可以表转折对比啊 像这个句子 she though i was taklking about her daughter，while in fact，i was talking about mine。
第三题里的 问题
should可以表 竟然~ 这个句子为什么不能理解成 ben竟然只有10岁·~~

第一题，可以把when加进去，there are times when we would willingly give everything we possess to save our lives,there are times when_____ we might be unwilling to pay a surgeon a high fee for offering us percisely this service.如果在空格处填while，则when和while连在一起用了，英语中没有这种现象。
第三题，若把should“竟然”放进去，则表示对ben的年龄表示惊讶，此处should有强调的意思；可是，后面的but连接句子，从逻辑上讲，一般but后跟的句子应该是要强调的，而若一个句子，前半部分强调，后半部分也强调，就显得有点不合逻辑了。

1. 句意为转折，也就是yet和while的区别。yet常用于否定句中，如上，但while表转折、对比，程度弱些。
2. but也是表句意是相反的转折，本句中不存在相反一说。
3. should be表虚拟语气，一般是指 本应该是……，may be 是指对现在或未来的可能、猜测。
