Situation 4: On the way to a job fair
A, B and C are classmates. They talk about the present recruiting (招聘) trend that employers prefer to hire English proficient (精通英语的) employees.
Situation 5: In the dormitory
A, B and C are roommates. Their dorm has been broken into while they were away on weekends and some properties have been stolen. They are trying to solve the crime and talk about the possibilities when and how the thief committed the theft.
Situation 6: In a shopping store
A is a shop assistant. B and C are students in a clothing store. B wants to buy a sweater. A and C are helping B and offering some useful suggestions.
Situation 7: In a restaurant
A is a waiter/waitress. B and C are tourists. B and C are visiting the city for the first time and would like to have some special food of the city. A gives some helpful suggestions.
Situation 8: In a car exhibition
A, B and C are classmates. They talk about the change of city people’s commuting（交通）habits over the years and predict future trends. (e.g. bike, public transportation, private car, hybrid car, etc.)
Situation 9: In the dormitory
A, B and C are roommates. They are busy preparing for an important exam. They feel stressed. A suggests they should have a break. And they start to talk about ways to reduce stress.

A, B and C are classmates. They talk about the present recruiting (招聘) trend that employers prefer to hire English proficient (精通英语的) employees.

A: hey, how's going?
B & C: hi, good.
B: we going to the job fair, you want to come with us?
A: sure, why not?
C: have you been to a job fair before? I'm totally not know what's going to happen.
A: well, it just some company come over here, offer some jobs. I don't know. but i've think they're look for some guy who can speaks english well.
B: i dont know too, man. if they just need some one proficient in english, i think we good for it.
C: yea, three of the best students in English major? who else could they look for?
A: do you guys bring a resume ?
B: yea, we do.
C: don't tell me you dont have one, do you?
A: oh, i dont have any by hand, i was heading to gym. but no worry, I will tell them i can email them one. I got iphone, i can show them and email them during the interview.
B: oops, here we are, job fare.
C: oh my god, california state university is hiring too? If i got the job, i can go to america. i want this job so bad.
A: i may check some where else, good luck on that, my friends.
B: you too, see you around. hey, wait C, i'm coming with you.
