本系统采用基于B/S结构进行开发，对数据库的操作以及asp中脚本语言的应用，利用VBscript和T-SQL语言实现对数据库的写入，查询，修改等操作。通过服务器实现房屋出租管理的在线操作，让管理员可以在任何地点足不出户对房屋进行出租、出售的管理。以及普通注册用户可以通过网站发布出租、出售信息。删除已经发布的信息等功能。普通游客可以访问本系统实现房屋的注册、查询出租、出售的房屋信息，并能联系房东进行交易洽谈等功能。该系统总体方面实现了快捷、方便、简单的查询、管理等操作。以用户为上帝，以方便为宗旨是该系统主要特色。
