which one is the ultimate purpose
or which one weighs more in one's life
study is for knowledge which is valued only when put into practical use
on the other hand to work better or to achieve better performance requires not only the knowledge relevent to your job, but, more importantly, a comparatively definite goal in certain area, which, as i think, only can be acquired in the real working condition.
as a result, one year or more spent on work can drive one home to a more clear aim. as long as you aim, what you really need, is made clear, it is possible for one to learn what kind of coures he should take part in
without such experience, it may hard to choose the right thing and the result may be largely misled
