Henry became very poor in his old age. One day he was walking along the street as usual when a woman suddenly came into him, "Can I invite you for dinner?"
Henry slowly looked up the well-dressed woman. She looked like she had never missed a meal in the life. His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before.
Henry was supposed to refuse the strange woman. But he was really very hungry, so he accepted the offer. They went into a cafe and sat in a corner. She ordered a cup of coffee and some bread for him.
She started at him. "Henry, do you remember me?"
Old Henry searched her face with his old eyes and said, "I think so - I mean you do look familiar."
"I was the young girl who you helped many years ago in the cafe."
Henry lit up with a smile. "Now I remember," he said, "That day you came up and asked me if you could work for something to eat. I said that it was against company rule."
"But then you gave me some bread and a cup of coffee, and told me to go over to a corner table and enjoy it."
"So you started your own business?" Old Henry said.
"I got a job that very afternoon. I worked my way up. Finally I had my own business." She opened her purse and pulled out a business card. "I want you to pay a visit to a Mr. Brown. He's the manager of my company. I'm certain that he'll find something for you to do around the office," she smiled.
There were tears in the old man's eyes. "How can I ever thank you?" he said.
"Don't thank me," the woman answered. "Thank the God...He led me to you."
When you cast your net upon the water, you never know it will be returned to you."
