大家都知道，人类要生存，需要有一个良好的生态环境。这些年，环境污染成了一个人所共知的难题，也成了和我们每个人的健康都息息相关的主题。大家都知道，绿色是和平和生命的象征，但现在，我们看到的却是环境污染，绿色锐减。大家知道吞噬绿色的是谁吗？不错！正是我们人类自己。是人类无节制地对自然资源的掠夺、破坏和开采，对绿色的无尽索取威胁着生态平衡，破坏着生态结构。大气、水、土地被严重污染；湿地、酸雨、荒漠化、沙尘暴等字眼触目惊心。毫不夸张的说，爱护环境，保持生态的平衡，珍惜宝贵的自然资源，已经成了我们生存下去的基本条件。
这些年，北方的风沙比较大，气候变化无常。不久前发生的冻雨天气，给电力行业、交通运输行业乃至社会生活的方方面面都带来了巨大的影响，给国家、社会、企业、家庭带来了不可估量的损失。随着春天的来临，风沙、甚至沙尘暴会越来越多，这是我们每个人都能感受到的。可以说，环境与我们的生活极为密切，与我们的生存息息相关。
老师们，同学们，请记住我们的责任吧：保护环境，刻不容缓。低碳生活，从我做起。
一、积极配合学校开展创建绿色学校活动，将环境教育普及、深化下去，把绿色希望带入未来的生活。
二、努力学习环保知识，切实掌握各科教材中有关环境方面的内容。
三、从我做起，从现在做起，从身边小事做起。提倡绿色生活，节约资源，减少污染，回收资源，绿色消费，支持环保；真正做到珍爱生命，不毁坏花草树木；不吸烟、不乱丢杂物垃圾；不用一次性碗筷、少用难降解的文具；支持学校的垃圾分类回收工作。
美丽的自然带来美丽的心境，美丽的心境带来了美丽的生活。朋友们，让我们行动起来，从我做起，从现在做起，一起去创造我们的绿色家园吧！谢谢大家。
