问题：介词后面可以加疑问词嘛？为什么
2.Half an hour had gone by, but the last bus hadn’t come yet. We had to walk home.
问题：两个过去完成时可以在同一个句子中使用吗？为什么
3.I’ve been meaning to write to them but something or other comes up and I just don’t seem to find the time.
问题：一个句子中可以同时用and ，but连接吗？为什么

问题：两个过去完成时可以在同一个句子中使用吗？为什么
--- 可以,因为虽然在一个句子里但其实用并列连词and连接之后就是并列的两个句子,不影响什么

3.I’ve been meaning to write to them but something or other comes up and I just don’t seem to find the time.
问题：一个句子中可以同时用and ，but连接吗？为什么
--- 可以,因为它们两个词本身就不是一个意思,不像but 和 though不能同时连用,而and和but在句意允许的情况下可以连用

4. It is reported that UN mediators have worked out a plan which they hope will be acceptable to both sides.
问题：hope will be acceptable ..怎么我感觉像少了个宾语，这个句子有问题吗？
--- 看似少个宾语其实which they hope will be acceptable to both sides就是本句中的宾语从句,which做引导词引出的从句,所以没问题.

问题：前面一个句子已经完整了，后面为什么可以直接跟afraid of ......
--- 后面是解释前面为什么走得很谨慎,是补语,补充前文所没有概括的.

问题：翻译句子
