英语中 the reason why…… 和the reason that 的区别

主要看reason后面缺什么成分，the reason why，后面的主，谓，宾都有了，缺的是原因状语，所以要用why,如：The reason why he went to school late is that he got up too late this moring. the reason that它的后面主要缺的是宾语，所以要用that,如：The reason that he gave is not good.
