have→having。分析句子结构可知，此处要用现在分词作状语，表示伴随。
怎么体现是现在分词作状语？是怎么分析出来的。

一个句子不可能有两个谓语。此句有两个动词，sat 和 have。故其中一个动词需是分词结构。即
one evening at sunset, we sat by the fire, having our barbecue.
或 one evening at sunset, sitting by the fire, we had barbecue.

tell不改成telling？

但tell 却不是。这是个祈使句，动作有先后之分。
