This was an architecture of dominance in which subject peoples were literally made to feel small by buildings that epitomized imperial power. 我感觉这个句子里加个by buildings 有点怪。如果把从句写成subject peoples were literally made to feel small in the architecture by buildings …… in architecture和 by buildings不重复吗？？怎么理解啊？
