Usually vegetable oils are extracted from the seeds of soybean, peanut, cottonseed,
corn, sesame, sunflower and rice bran by means of press or diffusion. That makes the oils contain some suspended particles, phospholipid, wax, pigment and something else which causes the oils to be impure, turbid and stick. Therefore,crude vegetable oils have to be refined by hydration de-gumming, de-acidification, de-coloration and deodorization for separating phospholipid and wax, removing free fatty acids, pigments and odour. Although the phospholipid is good for health,the phospholipid in oil results in not only turbidness but also a change in oil quality,pollutes the surface of adsorbent in refining process, reduces the activity of catalyst in hydrogenation, and adds to the difficulties of settlewent and filtration. Here, some experimental results about the application of magnetic treatment for strengthening the separation of phospholipid in vegetable oils are reported.

1 Materials and Methods
1 .1 Vegetable Oils
The soybean oil and peanut oil with much phospholipid were chosen for experiments,
and distilled water was used in the hydration of phospholipid.
1 .2 Phospholipid
The phospholipid contents were determined according to the GB5537-85 of Chinese
State Standard}z}.In which a colorimetric estimation with molybdenum blue was used in a 721-colorimeter.
1 .3 Viscosity
The viscosity of oil was measured with a capillary viscometer.

1 .4 Surface Tension
The surface tension of water was measured with a BZY-180 surface tension balance, in which the surface tension can be reflected as the torsion to break the liquid film on the platinum ring of the balance.
1 .5 Magnetic Treatment Installation
The adjustable magnetic field device made designs of our own with range of 0一800
kA/m was adopted in the experiments.

通常植物油是从黄豆、花生、棉花籽、玉米、芝麻、葵花籽和米糠中,经过压榨或渗滤提取出来的。这样制出的油里面会有悬浮的颗粒、磷脂、蜡、色素和其它一些物质,油会变得不纯净、浑浊、粘稠。因此,初级的植物油必须经过水化脱胶、脱酸、脱色和脱味的精炼,以分离磷脂和蜡,去除游离的脂肪酸、色素和异味。虽然磷脂对身体有好处,但油中的磷脂不但使油变浑浊,而且会降低油的质量,污染提纯过程中吸附剂的表面,降低加氢作用时催化剂的活性,并且使澄清和过滤过程变难。这里列举了一些关于用磁化处理来加强植物油里磷脂的分离的实验及其结果。

1. 材料和方法
1.1 植物油
实验选用磷脂含量高的豆油和花生油,磷脂水化作用使用的是蒸馏水。
1.2 磷脂
磷脂含量按照中国国家标准GB5537-85的规定,使用721比色计以钼蓝比色测定法来决定。
1.3 粘度
油的粘度用毛细管粘度计来测量。
1.4 表面张力
使用BZY-180表面张力计来测量水的表面张力。表面张力反映为使张力计中铂金圆环上液体膜破碎所需的扭力。
1.5 磁化处理设备的安装
实验中采用的磁场可调的设备是我们自行设计制造的,它的范围是0-800kA/m。
