随着物流一体化由企业内部物流活动的整合转向跨越企业边界的不同企业之间的协作，供应链物流管理的重要性越来越突出。企业如何构架高效率低成本的供应链，如何维持与原料供应方、产品分销商和第三方物流等的持久紧密联盟，显得愈发重要。物流管理是供应链管理的核心之一，物流管理的实效很大程度上取决于采购、运输、仓储和配送等物流作业环节的管理状况，因此供应链物流管理的地位可见一斑。这便是我选择该专业的初衷。
我希望在这个专业的学习中，充分发挥工科专业背景在严谨的逻辑思维和实践能力方面的优势，通过在诺曼底高等商学院的学习生涯中，学习法国丰富的供应链物流管理经验，汲取管理学之精髓；对比中法两国文化差异，结交良师益友，开阔自身视野，成为具备供应链物流管理技巧的人才。
对于今后的工作。我了解到，中石化作为世界排名前十的企业，供应链物流管理也成为了当务之急，供应链管理的关键来自于成品油销售公司与终端加油站之间的库存管理与运输配给问题上，而该问题的有效解决对于企业的长足发展具有重大意义。所以，结合本科所学专业，我希望能在类似中石化这样，涉及能源动力方面的国际企业做供应链物流管理工作，成为具有双重知识背景的复合型管理者。

Supply Chian Logistics Management is (SCLM) playing an increasingly important role as logistics integration is transforming from integrating within a company to coordinating beyond boundaries among companies. For the well-being of the company, questions should be answered immediately with full attention: How to build a supply chain with low cast and high efficiency? How to maintain the close alliance among raw material supplier, product distributor and third part logistics? Logistics management is in the core of supply chain management and its efficiency largely depends on the administration of operation sectors such as purchase, transportation, storage, distribution and so on. And this is my reason of choosing this major.

I look forward to the abundance of SCLM experience and knowledge in France and I am determined to grab and digest all the essence through the years to spend in Ecole de Management de Normandie with my well-grounded professional background and capacity of logic thinking and practice. Also, I would try my best to understand the cultural difference between China and France, make friends with local people, broaden my view to better prepare myself for a seasoned talent of SCLM.

As for my future career, I plan to join an international enterprise, just like Sinopec, involving in SCLM on energy and power and become a compound management talent with dual backgrounds. As far as I know, Sinopec, one of the top ten enterprises in the world, is facing an urgent situation on SCLM issue. The key factor for SCLM is the storage and transportation management from readymade oil company to the terminal gas stations, which would decide whether the company can achieve long term development.

My life has changed since my senior year in Michigan University when I started learning longitudinal data analysis taught by Professor Michael Berbaum, who was a biostatistician. Originally, I dreamed of being a doctor as my aunt is a doctor. She always told me the knowledge related with biology and medical science, gradually I became very interested in biology. However, I chose the insurance actuarial profession as my major mistakenly.
