That is be-cause considerable pores of the AC are micro-pores (though thepores with the pore diameter less than 2 nm are also important tothe electrochemical capacitance[13,14]), which lowers the electro-chemical capacitance performance of the ESC made from theactivated carbon[ 15 ]. Especially, the ESC made with organicelectrolyte (which is famous for its high working voltage andhigh power in recent years though its capacitance maybe muchlower than that with aqueous electrolyte, normally about 10 to100 percent)[1]. To improve the electrochemical capacitance per-formance of the ESC, many researches were applied to preparegood ACs with suitable pore distributions from many raw mate-rials, such as coal, fibers and so on. Of course, they had manyexcellent researching results, but the operation processes fromthese raw materials to the products (ACs) were relative complicat-ed for ensuring the suitable pore distribution[16-19]. In fact, we caneasy obtain the AC by the commercial channels. But the prob-lem is the poor electrochemical capacitance performance of theAC. So if we can find an easy method to enhance the electro-chemical capacitance performance of the AC, the problem canbe resolved. In this paper, a relative simple method to enhancethe electrochemical performance of the obtained AC is broughtforward, which is the reactivation method to the AC using KOHas the activating agent. 展开
