Because of all these other activities weekend homework is usually put off until Sunday night. As a result weekend homework is done so poorly that on Monday teachers threaten to fail whole classes of students who haven’t the haziest notion of what the lesson is about. ③If there were no homework to haunt weekends, students would go to school on Monday well rested and willing to work.
