It is already one week after the national university entrance examination now, but I can still feel the excitement and stress in the atmosphere of the examination hall when I recall the whole event in my memory.

My schoolmates and I started to prepare for the final exam as soon as we finished all the curriculums, which is about a year ago. We had been practising papers and reading notes on the same topics again and again before the exam, so as to score high enough to enter our dreamed universities. The repetitive harding working enabled all of us a good foundation for our fulture study in the universities. However I do not agree that the preparation period before the final exam should be our academic acme. We have been studying so hard for so many years, so we deserve higher education and we can achieve more academically.

It is a once a life experience for almost every student. The reason behind it is that the national university entrance examination decides the destiny of all the candidates. I am neither against nor for this policy. Though some candidates may not do well in the exam by accident or under some special circumstances, it is not fair for the rest of the students if they get a second chance. Hence the only thing that we can do is to do our best in the examination, no matter how difficult it is.
